The idea of a middle courtyard will bring several advantages for the house layout. The middle courtyard will allow air circulation throughout this house by allowing almost every room to have openings towards the inner courtyard. Moreover, the openings on the courtyard will allow the light to reach almost every corner of the house. This expression of design is one of our strategies to manage the layout to have a maximum opening at each room.

With the number of room programs that this house should accommodate, we could still manage to have a courtyard at the center of this house. The results was an openings that serves also as an extension of the living room facing towards the courtyard.
